Hoxsey Natural Cure

Did Healing Become a Crime?

Many have benefited from the Hoxsey Natural Cure - starting with Hoxsey's horse!

John Hoxsey’s horse was dying of cancer. Rather than put the horse down, Hoxsey put it out to pasture. However, the horse didn’t die. It started to get better. Hoxsey noticed that it grazed a lot in a particular part of the field.

When the horse's tumor shrank and fell off, Hoxsey gathered every plant and herb the horse had been eating and experimented with them on his neighbors’ sick animals. Many of them recovered fully from what were thought to be incurable conditions.

Hoxsey’s herbal formula was passed down from father to son and was used on animals and humans alike without much fanfare. The Hoxseys didn’t charge for it, but accepted donations. Many people were treated for free. No one seemed to care until Dr. Harry Hoxsey, John’s great-grandson and a traditional naturopathic physician, began seeing too many people.

The Herbs
  • red clover
  • burdock root
  • buckthorn bark
  • prickly ash bark
  • potassium iodide
  • stillingia root
  • pokeweed
  • licorice
  • barberry
  • cascara

Dr. Hoxsey’s popularity with cancer patients became a problem for him. Even though he didn't charge for treatment, the medical establishment harassed him so much that he moved to Mexico to found the Centro Bio-Medico where he continued to treat and cure cancer patients until his death in 1974. His clinic is still there, still offering the Hoxsey natural cure.

Hoxsey's treatment by the medical authorities does not seem to have been fair. The story is covered in the documentary movie "When Healing Becomes a Crime", available on Netflix.

The American Medical Association
is a trade union, not a philanthropic organization. There is nothing wrong with that, of course.  However, trade unions are not generally open-minded towards anything that threatens the flow of dollars to their members. Medical and scientific research do not occur in a political vacuum.  Enormous amounts of money are involved in the shaping of public policy - money that is not always focused on the discovery of the truth.

Hoxsey’s herbs were wild-harvested. They received no fertilizers, pesticides, irradiation, genetic engineering or other industrial processing. They grew in soil that had not been denatured by modern chemical farming methods. Consequently, they were highly potent.  Studies based on herbs that come from factory farms and processing plants do not measure the real value of theraeutic herbs that have been grown, harvested and prepared with quality foremost in mind.

Dr. James Chappell, the Natural Cures DoctorMy experience is that most of the herbs available on the market have not been well prepared and have little therapeutic value. That's why I prepare my own herbal remedies.  It's the only way I can be sure my patients get the quality products they need.

The herbs in the Hoxsey natural cure are contained in my Stillingia & Red Clover Tincture. This tincture is used in my Four Step Natural Cure Plan to support the blood and lymph in removing toxins from the body.
