Organic Natural Cure Food for Vitality and Health

I encourage every person who wants to be radiantly healthy to adopt this organic natural cure. Good, organic food is the best medicine!

Sometimes we eat, not because we are hungry, but because we are trying to fill an emptiness inside that may not be related to food. We might be feeling restless, distracted, bored, anxious, or depressed, and we hope to relieve the discomfort by eating something. Eating diverts our attention for a few minutes from the uncomfortable restlessness we may be feeling. We get a quick reprieve, even a lift by consuming something, almost anything. This is especially true if sugar or caffeine are involved.

The food industry profits by rescuing us from our emotional angst. It knows we crave sweetness in our lives, and genuine nurturance, and it provides delicious products filled with sugar and table salt that give immediate comfort, but leave us feeling worse than when we started — wanting more — while actually diminishing our body’s health and long-term well-being.

The result is an over-fed, undernourished society of restless, empty-feeling sick people. People don’t catch obesity. They get lured into eating products disguised as food by a vast industry that thrives on their addiction to sweets and pleasing flavors. Instead of nutrition, they get habit-forming, short-term “taste highs.” Meanwhile, the food industry continues to deny any connection between the chemical-laden food it encourages people to eat and the epidemic diseases that result – just like the tobacco and alcohol industries before them.

Until recently, there were virtually no clinical nutrition classes in medical schools. Now, many doctors are beginning to recognize the importance of nutrition in maintaining health. This has come about as a result of increased popular awareness of the health problems associated with environmental pollution that developed into a social movement in the early 1960s. That's when the modern search for organic natural cures began.

A “back to the earth” movement was born to take a different approach to nutrition and health. People began growing food using traditional organic methods that did not involve unnatural chemical fertilizers and poisonous insecticides so that crops could be wholesome again.

They focused on nutritional quality and freshness, instead of on how much produce they could force from the ground. Their search for retail outlets for their “counter-culture” food products fostered the spread of health food stores dedicated to maintaining optimal health through whole, organic foods. These stores provide organic natural cures in the form of books, supplements, herbs, and organic produce. I recommend that you choose one of them instead of your supermarket for your food and health needs.

Switching to good food is now as easy as switching brands. When we break the supermarket habit and make the switch to nutrient-rich, additive-free food, we reverse the “over-fed, under-nourished” cycle, and our organic natural cure takes off.

It starts when we buy only organic food. Fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes, dairy products, eggs, poultry, meat and packaged food are all now abundantly available from organic providers. When they are used as a complete substitute for the processed, adulterated, and denatured products of the supermarket industry, they become a potent, organic natural cure to support your natural radiant health and long-term well-being.

Unlike factory food, organic dairy products, poultry and meat do not contain the hormones, antibiotics and other potentially dangerous drugs that farm animals are fed to compel them to gain weight. Since we humans are the highest animals in the food chain, these drugs flow up to us and poison us if we eat the animals that are raised on them. That’s why the switch to organic food is essential for people following my natural cure plan. This is an important first step in making my natural cure plan a part of your everyday lifestyle.

If you eat red meat, it's especially important to eat only organically raised meat. Researchers at the U.S. National Cancer Institute have reported recently that people who eat a lot of red meat are more likely to get cancer than those who eat less of it. My advice is to eat very little red meat, if any, and to ensure that any meat you eat is organically produced.

As we eat better, unhealthy cravings gradually fall away, without our having to think much about them. Of course, there are things we can do to support the change – especially by switching to our natural sweeteners and by drinking enough charged distilled water.

Like any important change, your progress depends on your keeping on the path, even when you may sometimes get off track. These tools will help you to stay on track.

Taken in combination with the other steps of my Four Step Natural Cure Plan, this switch to organic food almost always produces an immediate healing response in the body towards renewed vitality and health. There are many more ways in which you can use good food to improve your health. They are covered in my book. The most important first step you can take today is to switch permanently to organic foods now, today, while you’re thinking about it, so you can enjoy a long, healthy life.
